Yet the impact of its collapse is still prevalent today.
Businessman Aubrey Mulaudzi, who lost R2.5-million he had invested in the Limpopo bank, says there can be no justice until those who lost their savings are compensated.

A local non-profit organisation says everyone who unduly benefited from the VBS loot must pay up, adding that pensioners who had invested with the VBS bank over the years are inconsolable.
