Uptick in vehicle sales in January

JOHANNESBURG - There's been an increase in vehicle sales in January this year.

Stats SA recorded a 2.4-percent year-on-year increase.

This was driven by sales of accessories, as well as used and new vehicles.

However, sales decreased by over 1 percent in the three months ending January 2024 compared to the same period a year ago.
