DURBAN - Embattled Transnet National Ports Authority CEO Pepi Silinga is facing disciplinary action.
It follows a Bowman's forensic report that implicated him in irregularities and impropriety.
It relates to a multi-million rand tender for a multi-purpose terminal at its port in the Eastern Cape.
Transnet appointed Bowman's to probe the allegations earlier this year.
Silinga took special leave amid investigations in January.
Based on the recommendations, the parastatal agreed to charge Silinga and other implicated managers.
External independent chairpersons have been appointed to chair all disciplinary proceedings.
