Tourism private sector 'blindsided' by SA Tourism's R1bn Spurs deal

JOHANNESBURG - The private tourism sector says it's been blindsided by SA tourism's R1bn Tottenham Hotspur deal.

The country's tourism groupings say there had been no significant consultation on the deal.

The Southern African Tourism Services Association and the Tourism Business Council both say the sponsorship won't bring in the desired returns.
