JOHANNESBURG - Telkom shares were up today after the country’s third-largest mobile operator reported a pick-up in performance for its first quarter to end June.
But Telkom continues to feel the pressure from load-shedding.

Group revenue was up 3.8% in the period to the end of June.
Although its core profit fell 4.2%.
Telkom Mobile secured a 7% increase in subscribers in the period.
