JOHANNESBURG - Average salaries have improved over the last three months.
This is according to the latest BankservAfrica Take-home Pay Index.
It shows employers experienced another positive month in February as operating conditions improved.

Average take-home pay reached just over R16,000, a 4.6 percent growth from a year ago.
The index also shows this year’s business environment is expected to improve, unlike the previous two years.
But with inflation remaining close to the top end of the Reserve Bank's target range, this doesn't have much impact on households.
