JOHANNESBURG - Sugar cane growers are pleading for government to intervene to stop a bitter jobs bloodbath in the sector.
Its members are over R400-million out of pocket due to a cash flow crisis at Tongaat Hulett.
Andrew Russel of Canegrowers SA says they had a positive meeting with business rescue practitioners.
