JOHANNESBURG - The Steinhoff scandal has finally resulted in a person being sentenced to prison.
Steinhoff’s former European finance chief, Dirk Schreiber, has been handed a three-and-a-half year sentence by a German court.

He was convicted of accounting violations and aiding credit fraud.
It's still unclear when the company's former CEO Markus Jooste will have his day in court.
