JOHANNESBURG - SARS has moved to avert a jet fuel crisis in the country.
It's granted special permission to allow kerosene imports into local storage facilities.
Imports will be allowed from 21 October until October next year.
It follows warning of shortages that would have downed flights countrywide.
That shortage was brought about delays in the licensing and registration of storage facilities.
SARS says the window period will allow parties to navigate the registration process.
