He was speaking at the launch on Tuesday in Cape Town.
Ramaphosa says South Africa's presidency will ensure fair treatment and equal opportunities.
South Africa is the first African country to ever lead the group.
Ramaphosa says that the country will use its G20 presidency to bring about development in Africa.
His plans include the reform of global financial bodies and funding the just energy transition.
