JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is becoming a haven for fraudsters. The Southern African Fraud Prevention Service says fraud incidents have increased by 32% this year compared to 2023.
Banking fraud accounts for the most incidents, followed by the Micro Finance Sector and then the Clothing Retail Sector.
The SAFPS held its Fraud Summit this week to discuss ways to combat cyber crime.
