JOHANNESBURG - After quite a slump amid a cost-of-living crisis, retail sales are continuing their positive trajectory.
According to Stats SA's latest data, retail trade sales increased by 3.2 percent year-on-year in August.
The largest positive contributor was general dealers.
Retailers in textiles, clothing, footwear and leather goods also played a positive role in boosting sales.
