JOHANNESBURG - The International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa is investigating the alleged dumping of new pneumatic tyres.
They reportedly arrived from China in January.

ITAC has gazetted a notice of the probe after an application was lodged by the South African Tyre Manufacturers Conference, which represents several major tyre manufacturers.
The commission says there's prima facie evidence that tyres were being imported into the Southern African Customs Union at dumped prices.
The SARS Commissioner has been requested to impose provisional duties on those imports until investigations are completed.
