JOHANNESBURG - It appears that there may be some good news for South African motorists.
Another fuel price cut is on the cards for February.
"The rand has been on the front foot, so I think that is really putting that belief that will get another reprieve," said economist Joseph Busha.
According to Busha, this is also helped by the decrease in brent crude oil.
"Certainly I think it has been a good start so far, getting a decrease in the first month of the year. But we've seen the rand has been on the front foot so I think that is really putting that belief we get another reprieve," he said.
"Helped also by the decrease in brent crude oil. That's all good news and points to the fact this might sustain a little bit longer."
