Motorists to pay less for fuel

GAUTENG - Some good news for motorists, as the price of fuel dropped overnight.

Both grades of petrol are 15 cents less a litre, while the wholesale price of diesel has decreased by between 17 and 28 cents.

The cost of illuminating paraffin went down by 22 cents a litre .

The Mineral Resources Department says the relief is largely due to the Rand strengthening against the US dollar.
