JOHANNESBURG - The state-owned Airports Company of South Africa is not for sale.
That is the word from Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula.
He says a number of prospective investors are interested in buying a stake in the company.
However government is not selling.
Mbabula says ACSA is a strategic national asset with an important role to play in the country’s economic recovery.
He says it also contributes to growing Africa’s aviation sector.
Billionaire Rob Hersov recently told the Nielsen Network that he was eyeing six ACSA airports.
