JOHANNESBURG - The week has ended with good news on South Africa’s factory front.

Manufactory activity grew in October according to the purchasing manager’s index sponsored by ABSA bank.
And it’s good news because it’s the first time since early last year that the manufacturing sector has recorded two consecutive months of growth.
The PMI fell to 52.6 points from above 53 but it stayed above the 50 point mark that separates contraction from expansion.
