Local jam-making business sees growth in sales

CERES - A local jam-making business's success has South Africans licking their lips.

Since securing a deal with major retailer Checkers in October last year, Jacobs Jam has seen a hundred percent growth in sales.

Its four mouthwatering flavours are available at over 400 stores across South Africa.

Each day, Jacobs Jam produces 6.000 300g tubs and another 3,000 600g tubs from ingredients sourced from local farmers.

Apart from the owners, eight more people have helped the Jacobs brand become the success it is.

The products are also available in Zambia and Dubai is the latest city to stock their goods.

Soon they plan to expand their team with 30 job vacancies to be advertised soon.
