CAPE TOWN - The government announced that international visitors increased by nearly 50% in 2023 compared to the year before.

Local travel has rebounded but international travel is still not yet where it was before Covid.

However, according to a recent member survey by the Federated Hospitality Association of Southern Africa (FEDASA) the recovery varied greatly by region.

Fedhasa chairperson Lee-Anne Singer spoke with eNCA.
