JOHANNESBURG - ANC spokesperson Mahlengi Bhengu-Motsiri says that 'the horse has bolted' for the DA.
This is after discussions stalled between the party and the DA in agreeing on the national budget.
ANC Chief Whip in Parliament said that the DA were unreasonable, requesting things that were beyond the scope of the budget.
These included increasing the duties of the Deputy Treasurer.
Bhengu-Motsiri says the party was able to facilitate the passing of the budget with members inside and outside the GNU.
'This is so that we can finance the much needed services our people desire and deserve,' she says.

Bhengu-Motsiri says the country must have a budget passed so that much-needed jobs can be created.
Ntuli said the DA was not coming to the table in good faith. And when they do not get their way, they run to the media instead of being fair.
