Health Squared Liquidation | Medical scheme members still in limbo

JOHANNESBURG - About 23,000 members of the embattled Health Squared Medical scheme remain uncertain about their health cover.

Health Squared sent shock waves through the medical schemes industry with its liquidation announcement saying cover would end on 31 August.

This week attempts to persuade other schemes to accept the members and waive the waiting periods usually applied to new clients hit a brick wall.
