JOHANNESBURG - The latest data suggests motorists are going to continue to feel the pinch at the pumps.
A significant petrol hike is expected next month, while diesel and paraffin prices are set to decrease.
The central energy fund data indicates both grades will increase by over 50 cents a litre, while diesel will drop by over 30 to over 50 cents a litre.
The Automobile Association’s Layton Beard explained, "we have to consider that these things are worked out in average… At the moment we are looking at significant increases around 40 to 50 cents a litre.”
