DURBAN - eThekwini mayor Mxolisi Kaunda says Durban is open for business.

Beaches are safe and he's reporting a bumper Heritage Month, saying local and international tourists flocked to the province.
He said, "the city has enjoyed a bumper heritage month with thousands flocking to the city of eThekwini."
"What is exciting is when most of the visitors arrived, they found most of our beaches safe for swimming."
Kaunda said the City's public servants have made progress in the face of challenging circumstances.
