JOHANNESBURG - City Power is not happy with Eskom's proposed tariff increases for the next three years.
They have submitted a report to the Energy Regulator objecting to the increase, saying it's too high.
The utility says the hikes will pose significant financial challenges to municipalities and their customers.
They say increases shouldn't exceed 11% yearly.
But many say this is also too high in the current economic climate.
To discuss this, City Power General Manager for Tariffs spoke to eNCA.
