JOHANNESBURG - Outgoing Eskom CEO, André de Ruyter, says the annual results show Eskom's net loss is anticipated to be R20.1 billion during this financial year.
This is due to a decline in sales volumes, higher maintenance spend as well as higher spend on open cycle gas turbines, among other factors.
De Ruyter also blamed poor performance from generation divisions
He made the comments during an update on the utility's performance for the financial year ended March 2022
