Eskom Exemption | U-turn is a victory for the public - OUTA

JOHANNESBURG - The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse has applauded Treasury's U-turn on exempting Eskom from reporting irregular expenditures.

OUTA says the move shows an awareness of public anger over attempts to exempt the parastatal and the value of consulting the public.

National Treasury says Eskom needs to do more operationally to reduce fraud and corruption before such an exemption can be considered.
