BUTTERWORTH, EASTERN CAPE - According to the Eastern Cape Socio-Economic Consultative Council, the province is in a technical recession.
They say this is as a result of a sharp decline in the construction, manufacturing, and mining industries. This will undoubtedly impact employment badly.
