CAPE TOWN - Transnet's move to give third-party operators open access to South Africa’s rail network has been hailed by stakeholders as 'a landmark development'.
Private-sector participation in the rail is expected to transform freight logistics in the country.
Transport Minister, Barbara Creecy approved the move in December.
To discuss this further, Warwick Lord, chairperson of the Multi-Modal Inland Port Association spoke to eNCA.
