JOHANNESBURG - The CEO of Business Unity Khulekani Mathe says a heavy task lies ahead of President Cyril Ramaphosa.
This as the president leads South African delegation at The World Economic Forum in Devos, Switzerland.
According to Mathe, Ramaphosa is not just representing the country but the G20. He says this is an opportunity for South Africa to influence the world.
"The world is looking at us and this is a great opportunity to sell South Africa as an investment friendly destination, as a country that is ambitious and country that wants to put its best foot forward," he says.
Ramaphosa has met with ministers and senior business leaders to reaffirm the Government-Business Partnership’s commitment to their shared goal of growing the economy.
The focus for 2025 is accelerating essential reforms, operational improvements, and key interventions in the areas of energy, transport and logistics, crime, corruption, and youth employment.
