JOHANNESBURG - South Africa wants to be removed from the dreaded greylist.

However, progress has been slow.

South Africa was greylisted around a year ago by the Financial Action Task Force which monitors the ability of countries to comply with international standards to prevent money laundering terrorist financing.

The IRF Forensic Investigations says that the lack of prosecution of large criminal networks remains a stumbling block for the government.
