DURBAN - Transnet National Ports Authority says its rehabilitation project at the Port of Durban is moving steadily along. 

The 24-month project, which started in September 2023 has reached fifty-eight percent completion.

It started as a way to upgrade the port of Durban, and assist with congestion by reducing delays. Dilapidated infrastructure is also being taken care of. 
 

Transnet acting port manager, Nkumbuzi Ben-Mazwi spoke to eNCA.
