CAPE TOWN - It has been just over 100 days since the Government of National Unity took office, and various departments are now sharing their progress during this period.
Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille has given an update on the performance of the tourism sector for 2023, noting significant progress.
She announced that international visitors contributed R95 billion to the economy, while domestic tourism brought in R121 billion.
De Lille says the department is working tirelessly to strengthen marketing initiatives in collaboration with the private sector to further develop and grow the tourism industry.
