DAVOS, SWITZERLAND - Intra-Africa trade has the potential to increase over the years, says Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA ) secretary-general Wamkele Mene.
AfCFTA intended to boost African trade to contribute to overall growth and GDP in Africa.
Mane was speaking in Davos where business and government have wrapped up key conversations on the global economy.
According to Mene predicted that in the next four years, there would be a great deal of Micro-economic instability, policy uncertainty, and weaponisation of trade policy to advance the narrow national interest.
