JOHANNESBURG - Some welcome news for consumers.
Inflation has come down to 5.5 percent in November.
This follows it almost breaching the Reserve Bank's target of between 3 and 6 percent in October by reaching 5.9 percent.
The main contributing factors were food, housing and transport costs.
Stats SA released the latest inflation data on Wednesday morning.
The latest print comes in despite South Africa's lower economic growth.
The latest data will be used to decide on interest rates early next year.
