Cost of Living | People need to start cutting down - expert

JOHANNESBURG -South Africans are urged to minimise unnecessary expenditures as the country's cost of living continues to rise.

Consumer debt expert Moeshfieka Botha says people need to start budgeting and cutting down.

"Start budgeting. Start cutting down and again we are looking at more repo hikes and that is going to make things very difficult especially with rising fuel costs, rising food costs, and rising costs overall," she said.

"We need to start cutting down and we need to start eliminating our debt."
