JOHANNESBURG - Trade union federation Cosatu, says a decision to strike has not yet been taken.
Workers affiliated with the union are rejecting government’s 3 percent offer for nurses, teachers and police.
The joint mandating committee says workers want a 10 percent increase.
The Public Servants Association which has more than 200,000 members has given government notice that it will strike.
Cosatu says a decision whether to strike or not will be made following conciliation scheduled for month end.
