Coffee prices | Extreme weather in Brazil and Vietnam impacting supply

But what does this mean for the you and I, the end consumer?

FNB senior agricultural economist Paul Makube said it’s a weather problem in both worlds where coffee is produced.

"There are other producers such as Uganda, Ethiopia and so on. But these two countries are over 70 percent of global production," he said.

"We've seen in 2024 prices reaching the highest level since 1997."
