    JOHANNESBURG - Three global coal mining giants have been served with a class action lawsuit.

    They are accused of not ensuring safe working environments.

    The suit seeks recourse for all miners who worked for these companies since 1965.

    The applicants include miners who have or died of coal-dust induced lung diseases.

    Lawyer Richard Spoor is taking on South 32, BHP Billiton and Seriti Power.
