JOHANNESBURG - According to research, the more educated a country’s citizens are the higher its GDP.
In South Africa, it’s estimated less than 6 percent of adults have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
Andrew Hibling, founder of EDGE Education says this is due to a low graduation rate.
He believes the approach to education must change, and not just superficially by adding technology to the mix.
Andrew discussed the idea of teachers moving from 'Sage on a Stage' to 'Guides on the Side' with eNCA.
