JOHANNESBURG - The country’s biggest retailer of building materials and related supplies says it saw a dip in sales in the last three months of 2022.
Cashbuild’s group revenue fell 5 percent in the three months to end December.
It says rising inflation and interest rates are making the building environment difficult.
The company has also flagged a notable increase in independent competitors and says there’s a rise in unregulated and inferior products on the market.
