DURBAN - There may be some high profit margins in the KwaZulu-Natal cannabis sector.
It's estimated to be worth over R100-billion.
The provincial government is looking to cash in on this.
Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube says local growers will also cash-in.
"We're going to be giving out 600 licenses to people that applied and they've qualified to plant and cultivate which is quite exciting," she said.
"What we want to see is that the whole value chain should be among our people."
