CAPE TOWN - It's all eyes on Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana as he delivers his Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement in Cape Town on Wednesday.
There are growing calls for Godongwana to make no further budget cuts.

Cape Town mayor, Geordin Hill-Lewis says government keeps bailing out SOEs, while residents have little to nothing when it comes to basic services.
He said, ''The most obvious impact is that people are desperately waiting for housing, even in informal settlement space, upgrade grant pays for things like roads, water pipes, and when those are cut, the upgrades projects are put on hold, real world real life impact is felt particularly among the poorest.''
