JOHANNESBURG - Chicken and egg prices may once again crack new highs.
Brazil is reporting a Newcastle Disease outbreak in its birds.
It's now suspended exports of chicken meat, egg, and poultry products from affected areas.
But, South Africa's strict import policies mean the entire country will be cut off.
Importers are in a ruffle as up to 80 percent of poultry imports come from Brazil.
