JOHANNESBURG - It's out with the festive season and back to school and according to a 1Life survey, over 50-percent of consumers don't save for back to school expenses.

Close to 90-percent of consumers will have to cut back on expenses to cover these expenses. The majority of consumers end up using their January salaries to cover these expenses.
