JOHANNESBURG - Owners of spaza shops are pleading with the government to have the deadline to register their businesses extended.
In Gauteng over 13,000 applications have been captured with at least 500 shops closed down for non-compliance.
Over 20 children died after eating food laced with pesticides, Aldicarb and Terbufos.
