City power extends grace period for customers
JOHANNESBURG - City Power says customers who have not yet converted their meters should not panic ahead of Sunday's Token Identifier rollover deadline.
The Joburg power entity has extended the grace period for non-payment of penalty fees to 30 November.
It says there’s been an influx of previously non-vending customers at the Service Delivery Centres, seeking assistance ahead of Sunday's cut-off date.
City Power says it will continue to assist customers to re-code their meters beyond Sunday’s deadline.
