WATCH | Land Bank to find new funding model

JOHANNESBURG - It is proving challenging to find an investment model that meets the interests of both the savings industry and the Land Bank.

Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana indicated that discussions about direct investments into state development finance institutions, including the Land Bank, have not yet led to an agreement.

The Land Bank may now be tasked with finding a new funding model

Godongwana says the Land Bank cannot move to the Ministry of Agriculture as requested by minister John Steenhuisen.
