WATCH | Green light for YWBN mutual bank registration

JOHANNESBURG - After 9 challenging years the Young Women in Business Network (YWBN) cooperative financial institution has been issued a license.

After public scrutiny, the South African Reserve Bank’s Prudential Authority has given the cooperative a green light to register a Mutual Bank.

One of the co-founders, Nthabeleng Likotsi says they had many detractors, but remained focused on the goal.
