JOHANNESBURG - African negotiators at the COP29 climate Summit in Baku, Azerbaijan are asking rich countries for $1.3 Trillion per year in climate finance.
The summit is hoping to come up with a new agreement for climate-related transfers from rich countries to poor countries.
This is why it's been dubbed the finance COP.
