CAPE TOWN - Consumer inflation slowed for a third consecutive month, cooling to 4,4% in August from 4.6% in July.

WATCH | Inflation slows to 4.4% in August

This is the lowest inflation rate since April 2021 when the rate was also 4.4%.

The inflation target acts as a benchmark against which price stability is measured.
